Okay folks... Things are looking up. Well, sort of. My beloved embroidery machine died just before Christmas. Yesterday my dear husband took me to the city to take it to the repair shop.
But, we (or rather I) got a new machine. It's awesome and I am having a great time playing with it. I am capable of making larger designs with this one, which is a feature I love of course. :)
I did leave my old machine in the shop. I suspect it would be a costly repair but I am tempted to do it anyway, being I have so many attachments that work with only that one. We shall see how much the cost might be, if possible to repair at all.

In mourning
Okay, so it is almost Christmas and I had a couple of projects to make on my embroidery machine for my grandsons. But, in the midst of working on one of them my machine stopped. Dead, nothing.... no power, no sewing.
So, now I have the task of trying to replace my embroidery machine on a no-money-to-spare budget. What oh what am I going to do?
